Fred Copestake

Fred Copestake – IRUN

With a background in field sales, product marketing, training and consultancy Fred has wide experience in the disciplines required in winning more business.

On gaining a honours degree in Commerce/Spanish from the University of Birmingham, Fred undertook various sales and marketing roles with IMI Norgren. Here he was responsible for developing profitable product lines, increasing business with major accounts and improving performance of local and international distributors.

Having proved successful in his field, Fred went to work with Structured Training and sister company SalesPathways. He was able to use his knowledge and expertise to develop sales teams and embark on consultancy projects designed to deliver result for a variety of clients. Once again outcomes included increased sales, improved performance and all round more effective business development activity.

Since 2004 Fred has been involved in an ongoing major project to assist beer brand Corona Extra in winning more business. Focused on the systems and techniques used by distributors and their sales and marketing personnel around Europe he has assisted companies in gaining market share in over 16 countries.

With practical, process driven approaches known to deliver results, Fred is also known to search beyond the commercial world for techniques and inspiration that can help generate a competitive edge. Fred is passionate about adding value for his customers, but is also aware about taking himself too seriously in the pursuit of excellence.

Fred is an also a qualified RFU Referee, YMCA Gym Fitness instructor and NLP Practitioner. He is unsure about the overuse of TLAs...
